It was a wild day on the bubble as both Wake Forest and Xavier lost in overtime as decent favorites. I have moved Wake Forest out of the field in favor of VCU for now. The Demon Deacons have just 1 Q1 win at Virginia Tech as well as a horrible non-conference schedule. It’s a testament to how weak the ACC is this year that a 23-9 ACC team is in danger of missing the tournament.

More bubble teams are in action today. Indiana, Florida and Oklahoma are among the teams that must win today to keep their at-large hopes alive.
